    Yeah-I had one bad lifter too and that is one reason why she is a x-wife

    Curious-I know you know the advantages of roller conversions,why not go that route and solve the problem??.

    all is well i didn`t get off to a great start either due to some members of the welcoming committe not being overly friendly .. but as those who put you down seem to have left so has my unfriendly friends have you fixed it yet .. by the way ... blue diamonds fixed my bad lifter
    iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

    1gary, the advantages of a roller cam, no break in required, steeper ramp up and down profiles, less friction which equals less heat. I'm sure there may be more.

    all i did was put in yet another lifter and it finally solved the problem. Must have just gotten 2 bad lifters. After I finally fixed the problem I also installed a High volume oil pump just in case. it's been 5 years and no problems.
