Are you saying the oil pressure is low? If you think the low pressure is caused by a clogged filter, change the filter.

When breaking in a new motor, I used to stick a strong magnet to the outside bottom of the pan (near the drain), then just before draining the oil I'd remove the magnet. The idea was the magnet would collect the particles and hold them near the drain, then removing the magnet would release them to be drained out. It was a theory passed down, may not of done anything, but it couldn't hurt.
