You don't want them so tight they totally compress the rubber, no cushioning then. I'd say a general rule would be to tighten it enough to get 1/4 to 1/3 compression of the bushing... I always use a lock nut on the bolt because they aren't completely tight.
When you say lock nut, are you referring to a nylock? That's what I used and I can still turn the nut, so I know it's not totally compressed.
Yeah, a nylock is ok. Just want something on there so the nut doesn't back off.Quote:
