    1977 454 main bearing cap bolt torque

     



    Can some one please tell what the torque setting on the main bearing caps? Iv seen 95ftlb seen 110 ftlb, summit said 95ftlb, Haynes Manual 110ft lb, 1977 2 bolt 454,
    crank was cut 10/10.
    The wife has me on a diet patch, but I don't think its work'in, she said you have that thing on right? said, ya, on my arm. She said, dumb ass, it go's over your mouth!

    oil the under side of bolt head and some oil on threads TQ to 110 lbs less a stud then i run them up to 95 and moly . DO not use ARP lube on stock Gm bolts only motor oil
