bbb
I have a 1969 Nova. I am building a 454 Chevy Budget Motor - just trying to go a little above stock. The motor is from a 1985 RV with 16,000 original miles on it. I would like to run the factory short block.
I purchased a set of freshly machined .781 heads to replace the peanut port heads. I also bought a new .544 .547 comp cam and lifters. I was wondering if the cam lift is going to be too much for the stock valve springs????
I have not purchased my intake or carb - I have been looking to buy them used to save money - but I'm not sure what kind to purchase.
Any information / advice would be greatly appreciated!
