ok, after talking to him about the butterfly valve... Im not sure if we're talking about the same thing... we assumed you meant the one on the exhaust manifold. He had removed it a while back and plugged the hole that the shaft previously occupied. He also said that after plugging it, that it didn't make the noise... the noise came later...
