I have an LS1 in my 53 Studebaker and love it. Runs like a scalded dog and gets 26-27 mpg on the highway with the cruise control on. There have been several neat projects highlighted here. Look for Ken Thurms Roadster with an LS7. Also for a lot of great info on swapping these motors into just about anything go here
