The Gen 3 in the new GTo is stock at 350hp and is aluminum. The Caddy is not aluminum. It is a steel block with an extremly high nickle content. Thin castings so they tend to run hotter than the norm. can't bore much either. But, then the nickle also wears less so there is really not much need. My block came from a 71 Eldo with over 100k. My finger nail cannot snag any ring ridge. I guess I won't get much more techical. I don't want anyone to think I was full of lunch meat.
