    welded mount

Working on my buddys' 69 Camaro and nothing was welded to the frame. The mounts bolted to the block and the mating part bolted to the subframe. If it is welded on the drivers side it may have been done to prevent the engine from torquing over while drag racing.

I am rebuilding my 68 firebird and ran into the same problem...they should be bolted to the subframe.
