how much you think i could get for this?

i'm trying to sell the drivetrain and components out of my 72 nova to fund my new drivetrain. everything from the the radiator to the rear end. the car's got 21,000 origional miles on it. i'm the third owner. the first owner was an elderly woman who used it to drive it basicaly to the hospital and grocery store. the second was an elderly man who used it for the same thing and it hadn't been driven for the last 3 years before i bought it so i know it hasn't been abused. it runs like brand new. part of me doesn't want to get rid of it because it runs so damn good but the evil side of me wants more power how much do you think i could get for the whole thing or parted out. it's a 250 straight six, 3 speed, 10 bolt.

I think if you advertise it correctly you could probably get around 5,000 for it from the right guy. Someone who wants it not to drive but for an investment since it is so very low milage and im guessing near mint. I doubt youd get more than 800 for the drivtrain alone.

    Awesome car though!

i'm not trying to sell the car, just what i need to make room for a big block, 4 or 5 speed, and a 12 bolt.

72nova72, My dad just sold his '70 Nova a few years ago with the same setup as yours, he got around $2800 for it. He bought it brand new but his had a little over 265,000 miles on the original 250 six without a rebuild when he sold it but the thing ran great. I pulled the front bench seat cover off(he always had the seats covered) and the seats were in perfect condition. The only thing he was missing was one of the hubcaps.

the body isn't great. although it's not a rot box it needs it's fair share of work......and a base model no options 72 nova can't realy be worth that much even though it only has 21 g's, can it? i paid 1500 for it.
