    Mr gasket scoops.

I've been looking at mr gasket scoops. (the kind with butterflys) But I'm put off by the small air filter elements. I have a K&N parts book, with a formula for air filter area related to engine size. And by the looks of it, the filter is way too small for for an angry supercharged engine.
Maybe the filters are bigger in the flesh. What do you guys think?

I have run a Mr Gasket scoop with two 600's and run those filters on two blown smallblocks at differant times and have not had an issue.Mind you the first engine was 19% underdriven and the other 9%.Now I am running a shotgun scoop with the same style filters and no issues.

    Thanks.
Do you know if a cotton gauze type replacement filter is available to replace the crappy paper one?

I run 2"x 6" washable type filters on a 6-71 blown smallblock with Demon 650s. I've also used the paper variety with no issues...on the street at least
