Most of the issues that you are seeing are ( assuming that your jetting, power valves are close) can all be fixed in the base plate----I'll try to put suggested fixes in a PM tonite--if several guys are interested I'll try to post it for everybody

jerry, I'd be interested in hearing your take... i can imagine one would be to drill the butterflies and/or crack the secondary throttle open a bit?

    thanks.

Sorry I didn't get my deal written up last night but have been super busy with preparations for the sale and closing of my building---22 miles away, 45 min drive time,18 man hours/week enroute and back, fuel $4.99 +

setting engine stuff back up at home, getting rid of most complete car stuff---lifts, front end alignment, etc

working with lawyers, hand carrying paperwork, surveys-----

    Soon

I think the pretty flame when I lifted to set the car going into number 3 was probably a give-away....

PS---don't run more then about 7% in methanol at 15:1CR----10% is really hard on pistons.......

Yea, and if you run Proprolene Oxide the "Happy Number" is 25% maximum.

im really thinking of getting an e-85 carb e-85 is only 3.59 a gallon ehre that beats 7.75-10.80 for race gas ! and i only have about 5 inches of rubber in my fuel system other than that its hard alluminum or braided line.

We've been using it for 3 years now Scooter...Plugs are a bit harder to read is the only bad thing. The octane is great and we've had no problems with it at all....

48 IDA Webers for SB or 54 IDA for BB. Once properly tuned and adjusted Webers, IMO, out perform most any 4bbl or dual four setup. Never drag raced with them but road-race/open track they were fantastic...infinite tuning capabilities to get every bit of performance out of an engine.JMO having run Holleys, and Demons
