    thing is, I checked all that just like you told me to.. voltages were right, points were gapped right and looked good ect..

    I think I'm going to get a Pertonix ignitor kit when this set of points wears out.

    just curiouse but... how wide across the top? I can't do any swaps like that now but surely I'll probably at least go EFI 4.0L in the future.. but if a 460 would fit, might as well go big

    I put the dwell meter on my list of things I need to get..


    BTW points are really cheap.. this time I used a set we had left over from my dads boat ( 181 Chevy 4cyl ) because it also uses 6cyl Chevy points.. but there only $5 for Standard Motor Products brand at rockauto.. a cheaper brand is only $2.54 but I know what cheap brand points will do.
