    Re installing hydraulic lifters.

I am re installing my cam and lifters.
Is there anything I should do to properly re seat them?

I had planned on just oiling them a bit, dropping them back in the holes, in order of course, and then installing the push rods, setting the lash, etc.
I used assembly lube, on everything. Will they fill up properly with with just priming?

Then reapply lube, when I close up the top end?
I am just learning as I go.

If you put them back in the same holes, they'll work. Did you do anything to empty them? If you just pulled them and put them in a tray, they won't need priming. Just lube 'em up and re-install.
