Thread: How can I get old alum heads to look new?

I use the high temp aluminum color paint to color my headder wrap. Smokes a bit when first run, but cooks out to a nice aluminum color and looks great. Heads don't get nearly THAT hot, so should do well.

I have done the high temp paint before and as stated by others above it does have a aluminum color but does not have the "bright" aluminum color. If this is something different I would try. Most paints and clears I tried in the past looked great, but IMO a little dull....

I have tried this stuff before and I can't get it to do much of anything. Is there a trick to it? Do I not wait long enough?
