There is a co. making a pointless conversion for your old dist that costs about $70. The kit is petronics Ignitor(solid state).
It takes about 15-20 minutes to install.......DonDon Meyer, PhD-Mech Engr(48 GMC Trk/chopped/cab extended/caddy fins & a GM converted Rolls Royce Silver Shadow).
