Hot Cylinder
Hey guys just helped a buddy put his '66 Mustang back on the road. Had his 289 taken out to 302 and put some camshaft in it (268). Really snappy but have a problem. #4 cylinder is running HOT! Running a set of
Thorly tri y headers. Carb is Holly 600. Manifold Edlebrock. Timing is 10 deg. Manifold vac is 18. When we were breaking the cam in I checked all the cylinders with my Raytech and all were running approx 330 deg. # 4 was running 480 pushing 500 deg. Any thoughts?
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
