Hot Cylinder
Yes the push rods are correct. Not being a Ford Man we had it completly taken down to bare block and started from scratch. The motor came out of a 69 Torino. The only parts we used were the block, crank, and rods. New pistons, (rings of course) brgs thru out. Our local Speed Shop here in Norcal has a dyamite machine shop and I've known these guys for well over 30 yrs. They build everything from stock, mild street, boat mild to radical, miget, sprint, blowen to supercharged. (LJ's Speed & Marine). Bert the head man did some extensive work on the ports. Check for vacum leaks with gauge and sprayed everywhere. He only has one manifold vac port on the manifold. Carb new. 600 cfm I would think would be plenty. I'm at a lose. Just thought I would bounce this off you before I go out there today. thx
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
