Honny, I'm Hone!
Whats up everybody?
What type of hone/what grit would you guys recommend to kick the glaze off small engine cylinders? For iron blocks? For aluminum blocks? I am looking to restore the original hone marks, not make new ones.
I have seen hones that look like a bunch of balls at the end of a rod all the way to the real thing they use at machine shops.
So what would you guys use? I have been told some where in the 220 grit neighborhood is good. I have access to a drill and drill press. speeds from 620rpm to 3100rpm on the drill press

Sprayed the cab, it's a long story, I had to re shoot it. Color sanding and buffing it now.
