OK Gurus! I have a Mercury Topaz, 1991. It has a sideways mounted 4 cylinder 2.3L 98 H.P. motor that I'd like to use in our Coupe project. Is it possible to turn the engine around fore and aft and bolt some sort of bell housing to it for an old time transmission of some type? Maybe a ford 5 speed from a Ranger? And next, is it possible to take off the injection system and put some type of intake and carb (or two)? Thanks in advance! Perley oldrodder43
