sadly most things such as condensers and points and such have not been outsourced to china, but actually mexico... which tends to make the crappiest electrical components possible....

Isn't that the truth. Zenith found out the hard way. Many of you might remember the old Zenith slogan "The Quality Goes In Before The Name Goes On", well the quality went South and the name went in the toilet.

yup.... mexican made products are just cheap.... even their candy is bad, it has lead content in it..... their food is great though

heck we even have horribly built mexican made houses here in california... and so i've been hearing is happening around the rest of the country now too
