forum is a little quiet today?

everything alright guys??? nothing broken today???? cmon somebody musta screwed something up!!! it is the weekend!!!!

maybe i'll do something myself then just to get a thread rolling.... ok how about this idea... use an electric blower fan as a supercharger, it'd work similar to a centrifugal blower except run off of electricity, maybe make it work on a reostat that works hand in hand with the tach?? that way at low RPMs it gets less power and the motor cant spin as fast, at high RPMs it gets full voltage and starts pushing 65,000 CFM.... i wonder how much that would be in psi of boost??
just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

thesals, you are too late.........someone already did the electric supercharger thing. This guy has been hawking these on Ebay for a while, and I'm amazed anyone still bites. It is simply a marine bilge blower, and if you have ever used one of these, they provide less output of air than a shopvac.

Here is what his ad says:

    ---Up to 25-40 HP Gain---

    NEW MODEL

Dont be fooled by other vendors! Their cheap imitations dont compare to the real thing!

This is NOT a cheap eBay knock-off, these turbochargers are manufactured and warrantied by DragART Superchargers, Inc.

We apologize if our pictures are hard to read, the neccessary precautions had to be taken to insure they werent stolen by other sellers

    How it works:

Our Electric Centerifugal Supercharger is designed to create horsepower and torque by compressing air and sending it into the engine faster than the engine can alone. This results in a higher level of engine performance only achieved by aftermarket forced induction systems.

With the electric supercharger, the amout of CFM(cubic feet of air per minute) is vastly amplified allowing more air into the combustion chamber. This results in a larger, hotter fire in the cylinder, creating more power to force the piston down. This power is sent through the crankshaft and transfers into power at the wheels.

This chart shows CFM produced by different engine sizes at different RPMs. See how much difference the supercharger can make! With as much as 1200 CFM, youll be amazed at how much more your engine will flow!

Our HP is even Dyno Proven!

well i played around with my little nissan sentra because the 1.6 bottom ends are supposed to be able to handle 300HP and the motor only puts out 90, so i hooked up my 65,000cfm blower to my motor, right throught the intake piping, had to use an AC to DC converter.... i think i mighta gained 15hp!!!!!! woooooo... that was the most fun i've had playing around in a coupla weeks.....
