How far down are the pistons? A 360 uses 390 pistons with longer rods. A 352 is .050 smaller bore, with shorter compression height. If your engine is a 360, it will work. If it was a 352, the comp. ratio will be really low. Like 6:1 or so. If it was a 352, you can swap in the 390 crank and use the rods already in there. If it was a 360, you have to use the 390 rods.

tHE PISTONS ARE ABOUT .020 FROM THE TOP. THE ENGINE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OUT OF A 1973 FORD PICKUP. I CAN'T REALLY FIND ANY NUMBERS ON THE BLOCK TO KNOW WHAT IT IS. IT HAD A 2 BARRELL INTAKE AND TRUCK EXHAUST MANIFOLDS. I'VE GOT THE NUMBERS AT HOME FOR THE HEADS BUT I THINK THEY WERE C8AE-H. I CAN'T FIND ANY NUMBERS ON THE CRANK AND THE RODS ARE ALREADY INSTALLED AND I CAN'T SEE ANY NUMBERS ON THEM. MY PISTONS ARE 390 FORGED WITH THE 4 RELIEFS FOR THE VALVES.

If they are .020 down, it's a 360. Sorry, but you'll have to change rods to use the 390 crank. The rods will work fine, I wouldn't worry that they aren't resized. Or, just run the 360. Use the 390 heads and manifold.
