    Original Engine?

I am about to purchase a 1969 TBird and I was wondering if this would be considered a numbers matching car.

The code on the heads are C9VE-A and on the front of the engine I found these: 9J155734 and a little bit to the right is 9B07 ? J

I attached a pic for you

The car is in great shape, body/interior wise. The "only" problem, that the owner knows about, is it blew a head gasket about 3 years ago and he hasnt touched it since. I checked the oil dipstick, and it still has some black oil on it. I figure the car is worth the $650 he wants for it.

I just have to find an engine rebuilder I guess.

Anyone know of any in So Cal?
