Well, in theory the Q-Jet with the small primaries and humongous secondaries will get the best mileage. I ran a spreadbore on a 460 in a pickup and got far better fuel mileage then I did with a square bore.....If I kept my leg out of it.... When you get into the secondaries, they don't do well on the mpg at all...but then nothing else does either!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Help us to help you more, what rear end ratio are you running and standard or automatic trans, if auto what is converter stall speed ?Objects in the mirror are losing

Q-Jets are 750 and 800 cfm. A Q-jet only gives the motor what it can take. I have Q-Jet 750 on my 406 sbc and a Q-Jet 750 on my Buick V6
