Every time a customer wants to build any engine I ask many questions.
Such as gear ratio, car weight,man. or auto. tranny,stall speed,pump gas or race gas,mech. cam-meaning you will have check the valve lash. are you ever going to run nitrous oxide etc?
The bottom line is anyone can "slap" an engine together but, finding the right combination is the real trick.
One thing to remember there are no dumb questions.
