I play with Olds engines too. Here is your source for all kinds of engine parts. Great people too.

Biggest difference in mounting and Olds vs almost any other motor is that the Olds uses 1 motor mount in the front/center, and two motor mounts on the bellhousing for the rear mounts. Most American engines have two on the sided of the engine, and one way back on the trans tailshaft.

When I mounted the 394 in my '39 Dodge truck, we made up one tubular mount that mounted solid to the center of the front of the engine, and on the ends of it we bushed it with two urethane bushings. We did the same on the trans bellhousing. So our engine sits on a four cornered cradle. You can also use a Hurst type saddle mountfor the front, with Model A frame adapters. I think Speedway has these.

Those old hydros were great in their day. I had a c/altered bantam with hilborne injected 301 Chevy and it had the old four speed hydrostick , modified by B and M. Never could hurt them.

Ebay always has three carb intakes and stuff for the early Olds engines.
