    sbc aluminum intake

I have a sbc aluminum intake with the following information stamped in front of the carb; 14057063 and underneath this number is the letters; GM CFM and underneath that is the number; 42 This is a low-rise, dual-plane intake.

I cannot find this intake listed in any chevrolet small block intake listing. I would like to use this intake on a 350 c.i. "Goodwrench" engine equipped with a mid-range cam and a Q-jet.

I would like to know what engine/auto combination this intake came in from the manufacture. I believe that it was probably a Z28 or a Corvette, but I do not know. I want to use this engine to power my 1978 Nova Coupe, driven on the street, no racing, just a good engine with a lopey idle and good mid-range power.

I do not want to use this intake if it is not flow rated for my proposed application.

Are you sure the number isnt 14057053? if so i found 80-85 passenger car, camaro, its aluminum off a 305 or a 350. if its a low rise im guessing its only rated til about 5500 or so. Correct me if im wrong anyone. But it would work on your 350 if you needed it to and they came with q-jets.
