Okay, I guess I'm thinking in the right direction here. The rockers & rods are stock 5.0 HO (92 Stang). I was careful not to over-rev. Threw shifts at 5,500.
I had an 8.18 (86.5 mph) at the 1/8th and clocked out with a 14.69 (91.27 mph). Not bad on 7 cylinders. Should have been in high 12's.
The part that hurts was it was a first run after 2 years of planning, building, planning again, building again. I'm sure you know how that works!
