The 454 is ready to install and has been rebuilt from the pan up. I have built other street engines and just broke in the cam on initial startup and then run it for an easy 500 miles with non-detergent oil. What do you guys do on a race motor such as this? After the initial cam break-in, then what? I sure can't run this car on the street. Or, should I worry? Thanks.........
after the initial startup, i change oil, and go racing. if its not right it will blow, if it right it will go. might as well find out what you have.
