Dave is right about being "rebuilt." All depends on what the seller considers rebuilt.

'73's were starting to get into smog territory, too, and were not usually like their brothers from the late '60's, or 1970. Plus, 2 barrel heads weren't as sought after as the 4 barrel Clevelands. I know some people used the 2 barrel heads to make a psuedo Boss 302, but that was about it, I think.

I would think Daves $ 500 figure is about right, but I could be high or low, depending on where you are.
