thats pretty much what a bypass does, but its setup to work like that a little better than just that.... your trigger mechanism though, i'm not sure on.... it'd have to be when you let off the gas pedal all the way though...be a lot easier if you had a manual.... which would give that 6cyl a lot more pep too.... i believe a 91-95 ranger 4cyl 5 speed would bolt up on that.... i forget if thats it or not... there is something from a ranger for the 5speed to direct bolt to a 200 l6
