So the spark plug wires go through the valve cover and come out the bottom?

Yep--the plug wires go in the hemi valve cover holes (there are round black rubber seals that go around the plug-wires and fit into the holes). They come out thru the holes in the adapter plate and connect to the Chev sparkplugs, and are hidden by the shroud plate that hangs down over the exhaust manifold or headers. In the link I posted, the guy uses chrome Hemi rocker covers, but I think they cost a fortune. I would probably go on e-gay and buy a set of original Hemi rocker covers and paint them, but thats a matter of personal taste and budget.

    Uptown83,
I have a couple of different valve covers in my collection. One set came off of a Mercury inboard V8 and fits center bolt covers, kinda look like old 'vette or Weiand covers with fins. The other came off of a 305 GMC truck (forgot what year) and look like 348/409 with GMC embosed and (believe it not) factory "Plaid" covering.
