    All of that stuff will bolt on, but I'm not sure if the bigger valves of the Vortec heads will clear the small cylinders of the 283. There will also be a small drop in compession ratio which will result in lost power. This can easily be made up for by using flat top pistons or even pistons with a slight dome. The heads have big ports and will let that motor rev high, I'm not sure how they'll perform at lower speeds, but it should be just as good as the factory heads.
