    i just purchased a 1965 chevy c10 pu with a 1979 305 in it..where should i set the timing?

    not sure..the po did'nt know either..have you got a good starting point or should i just start by ear..i do have a good timimg light..thanks for the quick reply..

    ps.. it has an aftermarket under dash ac unit and auto tranny

    thanks man..your a like saver..now to get off my cheap ass and get a manual..usually i build bikes..here's one i just finished..
