A question about feeding dual 850's

Hey, got a question for you guys who've run blown motors before, any suggestions on how to run the fuel line to both carbs? theyre dual 850 holleys and the normal dual feed fuel line isnt going to work. I could run two fuel lines but i bought half inch aluminum fuel line from jegs and dont really plan on running two separate fuel systems, i really want to just split it off from the hard line right there in the engine compartment to the two separate carbs, any suggestions?

Well thats not the problem thats what i planned on doing, splitting it up from the regulator, its the actual lines going into the carb that was where im getting lost, you know like the dual feed line going into the carb? i could go and get one of those fancy dual four barrel carb fuel lines they sell but its almost 300 dollars for one, there has got to be a better way to hook up two four barrels than that...

Your regulator will most likely have # 6 AN output ports (some have NPT). Try mounting the regulator close to the carbs & running four short lengths of flexible braided steel hose. If you have a GMC style blower, you can fab up a bracket for the regulator which will mount under the center blower mount bolts on the right side. Snaking the lines around the linkage can be tricky & may require some fancy hose ends. Hard steel lines that are made to clear the linkage are much easier to deal with. It also sounds like you may be planning on a "deadhead" regulator (no return line) Check out the Aeromotive or Barry Grant website for suggestions & sample plumbing schematics before you get too far.
