Question Chevy 283 -- more horsepower???

hey my name is eric -- i have a 69' Chevy Nova - with a 283 small block with edelbrock performer heads, performer rmp intake, new speed pro cam (not a stock cam, not sure of lift) - and from what it looks like i may have aluminum pistons, but i bought this car just this winter and havent had alot of time to find out what there really is under the hood--- although the question is -- is there anything i can do to obtain more power out of this small block besides boring or porting?
