Sorry for the delay. After my last post I felt burning in my chest and ran to the Dr. It is only a bronchial infection.

From time to time I have been posting about the cars that we have bought to rod and then sold. I guess it is because we have not found the right car or the time was not right. I have asked many questions and learned much! Restoring my Chargers is not building a Rod. I know this. We have the '55 Desoto with the Hemi. That will not go. Neither will the '74 Charger SE.

We have now found the car. I have been looking for an Edsel for over 10 years. We found a '58 Edsel wagon!
I will be asking many questions and I hope you will answer them. The car will be here next week and my almost 5 year old Son Charlie and I will start to strip it down. This will probably take most of our summer weekends. I look forward to doing this!

Then the car will go off to a shop to be worked on. The car will need metal work after it is blasted clean. That is ok. This will make a real Kool car when done! I have a friend that is an old time race mechanic that will build the engine and automatic trans. I just wanted to get a few ideas. I want the car to look original but be all new under the skin.

    Thanks! Alan

Alan, be sure to use respiratory protection on Charlie when you begin tearing out the interior.
