A solid roller is inherently going to be a bit harsh on the rest of the valve train, whether on the street or racing. I built an A roadster with a factory hydraulic roller cam engine for a guy a few years back, last time I talked with him it's 21,000 trouble free miles on it. With the solids, I would keep a very close eye on the valve train, run a magnetic drain plug in the oil pan, and probably cut my oil filter apart at every oil change to check for metal. JMO, I'm far from being one of the motor guru's around here.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
