    Got a noise like a clacking sound in the bottom end whats the best way to determine were its coming from ?

    used the stethascope pin pointed it to number 2 or 4 now what? will a comp test tell me anything?

    Compresssion test isn't likely going to tell you anything if you have a spun bearing or loose wrist pin(s) which is probably what the clanking is.
