I agree fully with Proz28 on this. With a alcohol engine you need to run aproximately double the fuel as compared to gas. Flip side being good power numbers and less detonation prone. That being said its more of a track setup then a street setup because of fuel needs. With a 500 inch stroker like I am currently building 10.5:1 compression, single plane, solid cam, mildly ported alluminum heads and decent headers I am figuring in the 600 to 650 HP range on pump gas. If I run fuel injection I might even be able to get 10-12 MPG (doubt it but I can dream).
