i found a website off this one where they dyno engines.i found one for a 390 hp 350 that runs on 87 octane!im thinking of going this route because of cost.the main question is,the compresson is only 8:7:1.will this still run good?

I don't know of any naturally aspirated engine that makes 390 hp with 8.7:1 compression. I know of engines that make over 400 on 87 octane, but they have much higher compression ratios.
