3.73 to 4.11s - Is it worth it?
I have a Supercharged Suburban with 3.73s in the rear. I just put 20" wheels which added about one inch to my overall tire diameter. This slightly affected performance, so I'm considering going to 4.11s. I'd go a little higher (numerically ), but the next step is 4.56s. I think 4.56s for a daily driver would be a little to steep. Is a change to 4.11s from 3.73s going to be noticeable? I don't want to spend the money and have little to no difference in performance. I think I can live with the slightly higher RPMs on the freeway.

you should gain about 500 rpms to go the same speed that the 3.73 was running across the board.

It's done
I upgraded to 4.11s and the difference in performance is noticeable. If I could do it again, I'd go with the 4.56s though.
Changed the shocks yesterday to OEM spec Monroe, they are still gas shocks. Disappointed that the ride is still very firm, it is not as bad but I was hoping for better. Might have something to do...
