That BB Injected '55 Chebbie i picked as best car at cruise night said he has the same problem. He's runnin' sportsmans on the back and said when he backs off it hops around and drifts from side to side. He said if he puts it in neutral it stops much straighter. Not having tried this myself i don't know if that's a good way to fix the problem or not. Since mines lag bolted to the toy room floor it stays purdy' straight ALL the time. Seeing as how we are on the subject of control. I noticed a funny thing when I was slowing down from 133 mph, the car wants to drift from side to side till I get the speed down to under 100. Do you think the wings on the back of the car have anything to do with this, or possibly tire pressure? I'm running 11 lbs of pressure in the rear tires. It had me a little concerned as it felt like someone was pushing me from side to side, and I'm sure the people at the end of the track are wondering what is going on too."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
