This license thing is getting draged out (pun) to the max. I almost did it today. When I say almost, I mean I came pretty close to having a disaster. I won't bore you with the long story. Let's just say that I sheared 5 studs off of one of my axles like they were made out of butter, and layed the tire down, right in front of my trailer! I just got back from making a pass too. The problem was human error, I just plain forgot to check the lug nuts to make sure they were tight. Dope! They must not have been. Damn! Oh well, fix it and try again.
Did it hurt the quarter panel?
I saw a car do that at an 1/8 mile track once many years ago. He left the line on 2 wheels, one snapped off and he rolled to a stop. Body roll that is. TOTALED
