2014 Nitro Shootout, Meremere New Zealand
After browsing here for a year or so (oops 4 years) thought it was about time I contributed something so am really hoping the downloading of these pictures works.
These pictures are from the Nitro Shootout event held at Meremere New Zealand last Saturday 11th Jan.
Everyone was hoping for NZ's first 4 second pass which didn't happen but we did get to witness a 5.08 which is still the fastest pass in NZ.
The first 2 rails, funny car and bikes are running on nitro, rest are competition and street cars.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
