    Maple Grove in Reading,Pa

Was up at the Grove on Saturday with my grandson. Have been taking him there since he was 6 , he's now almost 11. He loves going to see the fuel cars and getting that fix of the smell of nitro in the morning.
He likes cars and hot rods and have been also taking him to the Macungie street rod show since he was in a stroller. I really look forward to the time we get to spend either at the drags or a rod show.
We have to get the younger generation to keep our hobby alive and appreciate what we "old guys" have accomplished.

It's cool that you get that time with your grandson! And getting a nitro fix is certainly "Quality Time" in my book!

My Dad would take us to Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk Mass. "The action track of the East"... I can remember it like it was yesterday! Same family has owned it since before NASCAR was born!

Your Grandson will never forget these days!

You are an awesome grand pop! I'm sure your grandson will remember these times with you for the rest of his life. Sounds like pretty soon it will be time to help him build some kind of hot rod.

We were in Rehoboth this weekend at a Cobra function, otherwise I had plans to be there to take pictures.

I think they did the same job as always.... But I also think it was one of those weekends when odd things happen too. I don't remember so many pros banging on the red light for example. I guess folks were trying to hard as the seasons end gets closer.

Congrats on taking your grandson there! I watched it on TV yesterday and miss being around the nitro stuff regularly.
