    Big John Tribute car

     



    Here are a couple photos of the Big John tribute car that Bones will be racing in Indy. Sorry 'bout the shakes. The camera man must have been excited too!

    That's a race car no doubt, I saw the blur and turned up the sound thinking the car was running, just kidding. Everything in the back ground is clear, could be camera shake or low light and a slow shutter speed.

    I love that thing.....got to see some of those gassers back when i was just a kid at Cecil County, York Dragway, Englishtown, and others.....

    For me it was many years of hanging over the fence at the '62 to '74 Indy Nationals... and sometimes the big gasser guys showed up at Illinois tracks like Charleston and US30!

    Big John, S-W-C, Jack Merkle, K.S.Pittman, Ohio George, etc, etc. were all heros of mine!!! :-)~
