Thread: whats a B&M th400 worth???

hey guys im in the niddle of converting my monte carlo to a 5speed. I pulled a B&M th400 out of it the trans has a full manual reverse patern valve body and a 3000rpm B&M stall converter the whole package has 5k worth of miles on it.. What you guys think its worth? I would like to sell it to help pay for my conversion but i just dont know what it could be worth

Finding the guy that needs it is the trick, right? New ones go for ~$1600 at Speedway, so about half that or a little more is probably about right for a used one, no warranty, no return.

I put a 5 spd in my 57 about 3 yrs ago. Had a 400 turbo with reverse valve,
4000 stall, along with a 1050 dominator with intake all for $1000.00. This was
a great deal for the guy who happens to be a friend. I would say you should
be able to get at least $1000.00 for the trans and stall providing you can find
someone with the cash and sell as is. Robert

what it is worth or what you can sell it for? thats not the same.one time use to be close to the same ...but not with are great economy. best thing to do is not to post on here what you think we all know what the worth is. has this is a state to state and local supplers and build price play in value . here in Mi you would be lucky to see $500. so Ebay will tell you what one has sold for
