Dave, there is a really cool 55 gasser called Shakey Puddin' that I think might answer some questions for you. He ran a regular Chevy front end on it for a while, hit the wall, and then tore it apart and put a straight axle under it. He said it runs so much straighter now and goes in the 9's. He has been on Pass Time and it is fun to watch this one run.

Thanks Don, about all it sez is a moly straight axle and Bilstein 90/10 shocks.....

Already have the moly here to build the axle, now I want to do the trick front spring and adjustable shocks....

Nice car, but I want more adjustablity in the front end then his has.
